From July 8th to 10th, 2012, ZAWiW of Ulm University (partner in the G&G UPdate project) carried out the European Conference "Active Ageing and Intergenerational Dialogue - a Challenge for the Danube Countries in a Common Europe - New directions in seniors' education" in Neu-Ulm (Germany). One of its workshops was about "new media and online communities". Gilberto Collinassi, Italian co-ordinator of the G&G Update project of ENAIP F.V.G., presented during this workshop the G&G approach to an interested audience and recommended it as a successful intergenerational idea for all institutions which care for computer and Internet access for the elderly.
The whole workshop was summarized by Ralph Schneider (ZAWiW) in a plenary session and in an online forum. Eveybody is invited to join the discussion "new media and online communities for active ageing".
