Ce.Ri.S. Centre for Social Research, is a profit limited Co-operative established in 1981, included in the National Register of Research Institutes. Ce.Ri.S. mission is to contribute to the local socio-economic development working, at national and international level, in the area of research and training and providing technical assistance to public Institutions and private organisations. Ce.Ri.S. develops its activities in Italy and abroad, promoting partnerships with other national and international subjects in order to plan, conceive and implement:

• research activities in the field of scientific, economic and technological research; psycho-sociological analysis of social and organisational phenomena; user needs analysis; feasibility studies;
• technical assistance aimed at supporting local, national and international Institutions in planning, management, monitoring, financial reporting and evaluation;
• innovative actions aimed at the improvement of competences of individuals through initial training, continuous training, in-service training of teachers and trainers, training of guidance and counseling operators, adults training, entrepreneurial training, distance learning, highlighting the value of formal and informal learning.

Ce.Ri.S. co-operates with Institutions providing its support (research, training and technical assistance) in specific areas such as recognition of competences, learning assessment and evaluation, quality of education and training systems and products. The Cooperative develops also publishing activities (media-planning and key contents working out), being involved in the organisation and management of socio-economic informative campaigns; designs and implements Information Systems for public authorities and private companies; conceives, implements and produces complex information tools, software and systems to support the monitoring and systematization of information and data and the dissemination of outcomes/outputs; follows the whole process of planning, development and production of didactic material usable on web based platforms, DVD and CD Rom; plans and engineers didactic platforms, databases, websites and Portals addressed to different target groups and goal/sector oriented.
